As part of the international Structural
Dynamics community, OROS will participate as usual in this yearly event. This
year, take the opportunity to get a demo on Modal V5.2, the OROS modal software, going one step further towards its first objective: perform
a complete modal analysis in a minimum of time and obtain accurate and valid
results... Read more in this article: Modal V5.2, a step further in optimizing your modal measurements
Severine Colas, the OROS modal expert, will
do a presentation on Wednesday, February 5 afternoon, on operational modal
analysis on rotating machinery - from the instrumentation through to the
results.
Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) has
enhanced applicability dramatically, expanding modal testing from lab to the
field. This technique can be applied for troubleshooting, model updating and
also structural health monitoring on complete structure. Illustrated with a
test on rotating machinery, this presentation will focus on the instrumentation
and the type of measurement that lead to the best results. The kind of sensors,
the machine operating conditions and the analyzer setup will be discussed to
finish with a quick overview of the results obtained.
And don’t miss the opportunity to ask for
your Noise and Vibration Diagnostics Poster by OROS. Just have a stop to the
OROS booth to get one. (download the low resolution pdf)
IMAC is organized by the Society of
Experimental Mechanics (SEM). Visit the SEM website to know more on the event.
